“I just started in February of this year so I’ve spent the last couple months implementing a lot of back office systems that should have been in place but I had never seen before. When I signed up in February I had a trainer with no job description, no formal out lay of expectations, no phone script, an ad-hoc sales system, pricing that was all over the board. Now I have a part-time admin (used DUPLICATOR) taking a load of work off my hands. The phone script is in place, consultations are pre-qualified, and a formalized sales system is in place. “This year has been all about systems for me. When you step away from the business and try to manage it from a distance it makes any “holes” in your systems seem like you can drive a truck through them. I’d say that DUPLICATOR/COMMANDER as well as DEEP CORE have been the two biggest systems for me so far this year. The better I get at managing staff, clients…myself…the better the business runs. And as you’ve coached, the more I delegate, the better the ship floats. But it’s the systems that are the cohesive glue that keeps it all together. With DEEP CORE I have been working very hard at getting more ‘poles’ in the water. I’m leveraging more publicity than I have in the past, we’ve found a great funnel with Groupon, and Sean helped me realize that when you’re fighting tooth and nail for every dollar that you have to seek out and find those small, seemingly insignificant avenues and put elbow grease into them and MAKE them work. We’ve found a partnership with a small community weekly newsletter that promotes local business. It uses print as well as social media marketing to promote us. I am also writing a weekly 200 word article for their publication, all for just $45 per week. In less than a month we’ve tracked over $10,000 in ticket items right back to this one media. An overwhelming ROI that would not have been possible without Sean pushing me to find it. We are grossing more each month than we did last year for each month respectively.
